Write who you are
Three short sections: what people see, what only the matching engine sees, and what you're looking for. Your paragraphs are your profile: the funnier and more specific, the better it works.

Prove you're real
Google account, a phone code, and a live selfie that has to match your photos. Optional: verify your work or school email for a badge. Fake profiles don't survive the door.

Meet the people your words fit
Duets reads every profile in both directions (your words against theirs, theirs against yours) and ranks real people by how well the sentences line up. Read, select, and when it's mutual the chat is already open.
The matching
Your words do the swiping.
Every other app matches you on six photos and a punchline. Duets reads what you actually wrote: your idea of a good Sunday, your dealbreakers, the way you say things. Then it finds the person whose idea of a good life rhymes with yours.
Even the practical things live in words: want someone well-paid? An engineer, a doctor, a founder: the engine understands what those mean and who counts.
The door policy
Everyone here is real.
No bots, no catfish, no "entrepreneurs" selling crypto in your DMs. Three checks stand at the door, and a fourth is a badge you can earn:
- Google account — no throwaway anonymity
- SMS verification — one person, one number, one account
- Live selfie matched to your photos — the face is the person
- Verified work or school email — an earned badge on your profile
The fine print, proudly
Private stays private.
- Your “Private Details” section is never shown to anyone. Not to matches, not on your profile — only the matching engine reads it, on our servers.
- No ads. No tracking pixels. No selling data. The product is the membership — $4.99/month, everything included.
- Chats vanish on silence. Conversations go quiet for 12 months and delete themselves. Leave anytime; erasing everything takes one email.
